About Us

Created in February 2013, the Port Jefferson Photography Club is where people of all skill levels and a passion for photography come together. Our members come from various local communities and we meet in Port Jefferson, NY.  

The varied interests of our members and how they see the world through their cameras provides an extensive array of photo subjects. Our members have had their photographs displayed and sold in a variety of galleries and other venues. Members have received awards and the Club won the 2019 St. James Art Walk.

Our regular meetings include an education session, constructive critiques of our photographs, guest speakers, professional demonstrations and hands-on workshops.

Monthly field trips bring us to various sites that hone our skills and give us an opportunity to learn from each other, and have fun!

Our focus is on education in an enjoyable environment and mentoring for those in the beginning stages of their photography journey.
